  1. بِسمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحمٰنِ الرَّحيمِ

    In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

  2. هَل أَتىٰكَ حَديثُ الغٰشِيَةِ

    Are you aware of the Overwhelming?

    Faces on that day will be shamed.

  6. تُسقىٰ مِن عَينٍ ءانِيَةٍ

    Drinking from a flaming spring.

  7. لَيسَ لَهُم طَعامٌ إِلّا مِن ضَريعٍ

    They will have no food except the useless variety.

    It never nourishes, nor satisfies hunger.

    Other faces on that day will be full of joy.

    And drinks made available.

    And pitchers in rows.

    And carpets throughout.

  18. أَفَلا يَنظُرونَ إِلَى الإِبِلِ كَيفَ خُلِقَت

    Why do they not reflect on the camels and how they are created?

    You shall remind, for your mission is to deliver this reminder.

    You have no power over them.

    As for those who turn away and disbelieve.

    GOD will commit them to the great retribution.

  26. إِنَّ إِلَينا إِيابَهُم

    To us is their ultimate destiny.
